I have tried connecting my Lenovo laptop, Windows 10 to my Miracast device. it says on both the comp, and the device that they are connected, yet there is no picture on my device. I have no problem with connection to my smart tv in the other room. the device is a wifi enabled sony bluray player with smart features, miracast being one of them. I have gone thru all the steps to connect, and the computer says the device has been discovered, and connects. same with the miracast. then the tv screen goes to the temporary screen, (like the one it shows while loading content) yet stays there. no computer images at all.
I am unable to re-pair audio devices that previously worked. I am also having trouble connecting to WI-FI, I have to be in the same room as my wireless modem. I have updated all drivers and I don’t know what else I can do, Please help.
Hello Bernice,
That’s the issue with your Wifi modem. It seems that your WiFi can send signals to limited meters. And when you go out of the range you are not able to connect.
Thanks
